Roger Lewis, Jr.

May 14, 1969 — April 1, 2026

Roger Lewis, a man of quiet strength and simple joys, passed away leaving behind a life marked by independence, loyalty, and meaningful moments.

Roger proudly served his country in the National Guard, demonstrating a strong sense of duty and commitment. He remained connected to his fellow service members as a valued member of the VFW, where he found camaraderie and fellowship among those who shared similar experiences.

He lived life on his own terms. Roger was someone who kept to himself, but those who knew him understood the depth of his presence. He valued his peace, his routines, and the simple things that brought him joy.

He enjoyed spending time on the water, taking his boat out to fish, and on the golf course with his buddies. Those moments-filled with laughter, stories, and good company-were where he felt most at home.

Above all, Roger shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Ripley. Ripley was more than a pet-he was family, a loyal companion, and a constant source of comfort.

Roger is survived by his sister, Carol, as well as his niece, Mekisha, and his nephew, Joshua, who will carry his memory forward.

Roger will be remembered for his quiet nature, his independence, and the way he found joy in life's simplest moments.

"May the fairways be wide, the beers cold, and the stories never end."
