Paul David Casey

Paul David Casey, 76, of Chesterfield, Va., passed away August 18, 2012. Paul was a retired Sgt. 1st Class with the U. S. Army and a musician with the U. S. Army Reserve Band, 80th Division for over thirty years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton F. Casey, Sr., and Bertia Shadwick Casey; brothers, Milton F. "Mickey" Casey and Edwin Casey. He is survived by his sister, Cora Scruggs and her husband Robert E. Scruggs, of Midlothian; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Monday, August 27, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home, Gould Chapel, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell,Va. A graveside funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 28, 2012 in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens with Rev. Alexa Slonin officiating.
