MaryAnna Floyd died Friday, May 2, 2025 while on hospice and staying with Carrie and John in Prince George, Va.

MaryAnna was born the daughter of the late Sally Ann and Giro Privitera 12/10/1947 in Gowanda, NY.

MaryAnna is survived by her life-love, Douglas E. Rothwell; her son, Traye Simmons and wife, Ronda from Drums, Pa.; and daughter, Carrie Hubert and husband, John from Prince George, Va.; step children, Mike, wife Monica Floyd, Rhonda Braswell, Stacy Galle, husband Ben; siblings, Barbara and Sandy, Kathleen and Don, Joanne and Allen, grandchildren, Amanda, Becky, Jessica, Josh, Alex, Timmy, Tyler, Miranda, Trystan, Wylloh, Abbey, Mackensie and Angelina; great grandchildren, Bexley, Rylan, Owen, JayJay and JoJo. She was preceded by death by her son, Christopher Rothwell, step son, Robert Braswell and grandson, Blake Hubert.

MaryAnna was an amazingly kind, loving, creative and talented person who touched the lives of so many. She will be truly missed but, in our hearts, forever.

The family wishes to thank the Hospice of Virginia, all of the nurse, aides, and spiritual counsel who made it possible for Mary Anna to remain in a warm-loving home setting who provided amazing care in Prince George, Va.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 8402 Golf Cart Dr. Disputanta, VA, May 31, 2025, from 11:30 am - 3:00 pm. Put the address in the GPS as 8401, when you get to the address turn in and drive straight back behind the old Prince George Golf Course Country Club building to the Club House.
