James Clifford Waycaster, Sr.

James Clifford Waycaster, Sr., age 59, of Disputanta, VA, passed away on Friday, September 5th, 2025. James is preceded in death by his mother and father, Bruce Waycaster and Rose Waycaster of Hopewell, VA. James was a simple man who found interest and passion in hunting, working on cars, motorcycles, spending time with his children, and working with his hands. James, Sr. is survived by his children, Michael and Vanessa Ricks of Disputanta, VA, James C. Waycaster, Jr.  and Virginia Miller of Spring Grove, VA; grandchildren, Michael Ricks, Jr., Josie Vickers, Aidan James Waycaster, Oaklynn Rose Waycaster, and Graham Ryan Waycaster; and siblings, Treasa and Jeff Hamilton of Polkton, NC, Bruce Waycaster of Cornelius, NC, and Shirley Semlali of Hopewell, VA. James, Sr. was a dedicated employee to ACE auto body works in Petersburg, VA, and was very proud of his 20 years of service, and numerous accomplishments. 

There will be no funeral, but rather a celebration of life for the friends and family of James Sr., to be scheduled at a later date.
