Diana Kay Tackett

In loving memory of Diana Kay Tackett, 73, of Virginia, from Griffithsville, West Virginia. June 15,1952 - May 7, 2026. 

A memorial service will be held at later date.

Diana was born and raised on a 475 acre farm in Griffithsville, West Virginia. She moved to Virginia in 1972 and raised her 2 daughters. She was a loving mom of her 2 and all the neighborhood kids. Diana loved all her grandkids and would do anything for anyone. She was a loyal friend to all, and she loved spending time with family, cooking meals, tending her plants, and caring for her fur babies.

Diana was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Saul; father, Calvin Saul; sister, Patricia Carper (Patty); great-granddaughter, Waverly R. Wells; and grandson, Devon M. Poitras. She is survived by the love of her life, Jerry Tackett; sister, Debbie Harrison, of West Virginia; sister, Betty Stowers, of West Virginia; brother, David Saul, of Georgia; daughters, Rosanna Poitras (Kevin Poitras), Christie Gay (William Gay), and Irene Hunt (Doug Hunt); 8 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
